Christmas 2024
Christmas was indeed a time for celebration in the village.
Christmas tree lights were turned on by the Mayor,
supported by his Mayoress, along with Gary Barlow tribute
act John Fisher and a special appearance from Santa.
Festive songs were provided by Chris Hale and her Simply
Allsorts choir.
Rooted Christmas trees were planted in Madeley Heath and
Onneley, providing a focal point in these areas for
Christmas in years to come. Unfortunately, due to the
utilities under the ground at Greyhound corner a rooted
tree cannot be placed here. A BIG thank you to Kimberley
Walley and her family who kindly donated these trees.
This year’s Pantomime was Sleeping Beauty and was enjoyed by all who attended.
Children from John Offley School made ornaments and decorated the Christmas tree in Onneley.
The older persons party was greatly enjoyed by those who attended. The entertainment was returning favourite Sassy Grey.
