We all have a responsibility to take care of our environment and every year the Parish Council gathers together a band of trusty volunteers to spruce up the parish. This includes repainting public areas, litterpicking areas that are not covered by Telford & Wrekin Council, improving areas to encourage wildlife....any number of activities.
In 2011 The Community Payback scheme made an excellent job of repainting an underpass and the pupils from Madeley Academy carried out a series of litterpicks with all the local primary schools. They also assisted St Mary’s School to transform an area of rough ground into a wildlife garden with a bug hotel (5 star!)
