Telford Snowboard & Ski Centre, Court Street, Madeley, offers the only outdoor all weather dry ski slope in the county.

Telford Snowboard & Ski Centre

Measuring some 85 metres the slope, together with the nursery slope facility, provides skiing, tobogganing and snowblading activities for adults and juniors of all ages and abilities throughout the year.

• Ski Schools

• Offer value for money ski sessions catering for a variety of ages and abilities; providing customers with the opportunity to learn or improve skills and to meet other skiers.

• The Tinies

• These sessions are for children between the ages of 3-5years every Saturday afternoon, all standards, 12.00 - 1.00. There is a recreational fun session to build confidence and to learn the basic skills. No booking is required for this session, and parents of carers are requested to stay on site.

• White Tigers Ski School

• This school session is for children aged 5-16 years and meets every Saturday morning. The coaching, fun session requires no pre-booking. Beginners 9.45 - 10.45am, intermediates 11.00am - 12 noon.

• Adult Ski Schools

• Monday and Thursday evenings 8.00 - 10.00pm. Suitable for adults of snow plough turn standard to advanced skiers. (Beginners are also welcome, April - November only).

• Weekend `Family` Ski Schools

• Weekends throughout the year, coaching for all abilities for both adults and juniors. Two hours of tuition and ski practice for all the family. Children must be 5 years and over. Saturdays 2.00 - 4.00pm, Sundays 4.00 - 6.00pm. No pre-booking required.

• Private Lessons

• Individual or small group lessons are available for all standards throughout the year upon request. Pre-booking is essential. Please ask at reception for details.

• Beginner Sessions

• Tuesday and Friday from 7.30 - 9.30pm, November through to March. No booking required.

• Daytime Ski School

• Friday 10.00 - 12.00 noon (and Tuesday 10.00 - 12.00 noon November to March) Suitable for all standards. No pre-booking required.

• Ski in a Day

• First Sunday of every month, 9.30 - 4.00pm November to March (booking required). For more details telephone the centre.

• Other Activities

• The centre also caters for Race Training, Skiing for the Over 50's, Snow Boarding, socialising in the Alpine Bar, which provides a full catering service, and Children's Birthday Parties.
