Age Concern run two Day Centres in the area, one at Jubilee House on a Wednesday and one at Bridle Court on a Tuesday. They provide Bingo, quizzes, lunches and trips out. The centres are only open to frail and elderly people who would otherwise be housebound, free transport is provided. Bennett House, Woodside
Bennett House is a purpose built residential care home for older people situated in the Woodside area of Telford. It has 45 single bedrooms, used for long and short stay, as well as a day centre which operates for 12 people, 4 days a week.
The home is unitised and one unit is designated for 12 older people with mental health issues, most notably dementia.
