Madeley Food Fair

This event initially started in 2010 as a craft fair and market and was organised through the Madeley Partnership. In 2011 it was developed into the first Madeley Food Fair. Located on Russell Green, the Food Fair concentrates on local specialities and local producers. It aims to support local business, put Madeley back on the map and provide a great day out for all the family.

There was great interest in the stall provided by the Madeley Living History Project who offered a ‘Taste of the Past’. Recipes from Roman times through to the second world war were cooked and presented for people to sample with recipes available for people to try at home.

Traders and customers alike all enjoyed the day and look forward to a bigger and better Food Fair in 2011.
