Jubilee House, at the top of Madeley High Street has had a number of uses over the years. Originally built as a market, it has since housed several shops and businesses including the Arcade Press and the Jubilee Nut and Bolt Works. By the 1980’s the building was vacant and fell into disrepair, at which point it was purchased by the Parish Council. Only the frontage of the original building remains. The modern interior has been sensitively incorporated into the original structure and features a number of specially commissioned and local art works on the theme of ‘time and passing time’ The Parish Council offices are within Jubilee House.
